Conditions of Entry

To enable an event held at the Waikato Stadium to operate in a smooth and efficient manner and to protect the patrons right to enjoy themselves in a safe environment.

Policy

 

  • No animals (with exception for seeing eye dogs)
  • No air horns/loud hailers
  • No furniture
  • No weapons, fireworks, missiles, or other items considered dangerous
  • No pushchairs
  • No gang patches to be displayed
  • Intoxicated people will not be permitted entry
  • The venue is Smoke Free
  • Banners, placards and flags will be permitted at management discretion
  • Management will take no responsibility for goods surrendered
  • No commercial cameras
  • Indecent exposure
  • Gambling
  • Solicitation
  • Hawking of unauthorised merchandise
  • Scalping

    • Stadium management or their representative's reserve the right to conduct search and inspection of any garments worn or articles carried.

    Warning:

    Failure to comply with a direction from Waikato Stadium staff or police to leave the event venue may render the ticket holder liable to arrest and prosecution for the offence of trespass under section 4 Trespass Act 1980 which is punishable on conviction by a fine not exceeding $1,000 or a term of imprisonment not exceeding 3 months

    Food and Beverage Policy

    Patrons MAY bring in the following food and drink items into the venue:

    • Water in sealed plastic bottles up to 1 litre in size
    • Non commercial food for personal consumption such as sandwiches, fruit, biscuits and cakes, provided it is not in commercial packaging or wrappers

      Items that ARE NOT permitted into the venue

    • alcohol not purchased at the venue
    • Open drink containers
    • Drinking containers larger than 1 litre
    • Cans, glass or bottles
    • Commercially produced takeaway food such as McDonalds, KFC, Subway, Pizza etc
    • Chilly bins, picnic hampers, large backpacks, insulated bags of more than 5l capacity
